The  “Everglow: The Florida Effect” exhibit at the MartinArts Court House Cultural Center Gallery showcases the 76th annual exhibition of The Florida Artists Group. This exhibition features diverse works from professional artists, highlighting Florida’s unique light and textures, with an exclusive private reception hosted by Evergreen Private Care on April 9, 2026.
Jane Lawton Baldridge is a Stuart, Florida–based artist whose work is profoundly shaped by a lifelong connection to the ocean. She studied fine art at the California Institute of the Arts (1977–78) and the Alfred G. Glassell Museum School (1978–1982), where she developed the artistic foundation that continues to influence her expressive and narrative style today.
For Jane, the ocean is more than a subject, it is a source of identity, memory, and inspiration. Her work reflects a life spent on and around the water sailing, exploring, and immersed in its ever-changing beauty. From tranquil, sunlit moments skimming across shimmering waves to the intensity of navigating through storms, her paintings capture both the serenity and power of the sea.
Drawing from a rich history of waterborne adventures, Jane creates visual stories that invite viewers into her world one defined by movement, emotion, and a deep sense of belonging. Through her art, she shares not only the beauty of the ocean, but the feeling of being at home within it.
Michael Faurot is a Stuart, Florida–based blues and country guitarist and singer-songwriter known for his soulful sound, expressive guitar work, and authentic storytelling. Drawing from the rich traditions of American roots music, his style blends blues, country, and rock influences into performances that are both powerful and deeply personal.
An active presence in the regional music scene, Michael has built a reputation for connecting with audiences through both intimate acoustic sets and high-energy live performances. His dedication to the craft has earned him recognition as a 2026 International Blues Challenge Quarterfinalist, reflecting his growing impact within the blues community.
Whether performing original material or reinterpreting classic influences, Michael’s music reflects a passion for storytelling and a commitment to keeping the spirit of blues and country music alive. Based on Florida’s Treasure Coast, he continues to write, perform, and share his music with audiences who appreciate authenticity, grit, and heart.
